Small Groups

Whether it's for support, friendship, or education, South Park has a small group where you will be welcome.

  • United Methodist Women - Christian women meet in small groups.  In addition, general meetings are held monthly.  For women available during the day, the general meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 9:45 a.m.  For other women, evening and Saturday monthly meetings are also planned, depending on which small group you belong to.  A special "Day For Others" is also held every third Wednesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. Attendees work on quilting and service projects.
  • Men's Group - Christian men meet the third Saturday every other month at 8:30 a.m. Each meeting includes special speaker and breakfast.
  • JOY Bunch (Just Older Youth) - Seniors gather for inspiration, information, entertainment and excursions.
  • Supper Club - Small groups of randomly-selected adults meet together four times in six months for dinner.  The purpose is to build friendships between people that would not normally be in the same social group.
  • Boy Scouts - Boy Scout Troop 320 meets at the church every Monday night at 7:00.
  • Schizophrenics Anonymous - A support/self-help group for persons dealing with mental illness that meets every Tuesday night at 7:00 in the Parlor.
